STEP INTO SPRING IN MALLORCA 2008
m S´Arraco & Environs

Wednesday 27th February - Sunday 2nd March S´Arraco & Environs
Wednesday 9th April - Sunday 13th April S’ Arraco & Environs

S’ Arraco & Environs: The proposed walking itinerary below should present no difficulty to anyone in good health and fitness who is used to hill-climbing and gentle mountain-walking. The walks all start and finish at the Hotel on foot, and the terrain is a combination of country lanes, stony footpaths and cairn marked ways. In some places short bursts of scrambling may be required! If the group want to challenge themselves there are two options for the Saturday walk.

Option 2: Coll Andritxol - Garrafa Ridge - Vall Verde - Es Capdella
Experienced / Fit walkers only!
10.00am: 10 minute taxi ride from Hotel to Coll Andritxol (walking start point). Garrafa is the great cliff bound ridge dividing Andratx from Calvia. A wonderfully isolated and peaceful walk with superb views in every direction. Once at the top the worst is over and we continue along the Ridge gently ascending and descending a number of wooded colls in a northerly direction towards a small settlement and the Vall Verde. A gentle ascent up the Valley leads passing fields of wild grasses and flowers and small holdings, leads us into the picturesque village of Es Capdella for afternoon refreshments at one of the local bars.
